Day 01: Bangalore → Coorg
On arrival at Bangalore Airport / Railway Station / any city location, our Aarambha Holidays driver will welcome you and proceed towards Coorg. Check in to your hotel.
Sightseeing includes:
- Bylakuppe Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery): The "Little Tibet of India," famous for its golden statues and peaceful atmosphere.
- Sera Jey Monastery: A serene, less-crowded monastery near Namdroling.
- Kaveri Nisargadhama: A scenic river island offering a jungle-like experience. Activities include boating, deer park, rabbit park, elephant rides, and zip-lining (seasonal availability). Entry: ₹10.
- Dubare Elephant Camp: Base camp for Dasara elephants, with boating and rafting options (₹700 for white water rafting / ₹200 for still water).
- Harangi Dam: Built across River Harangi, about 9 km from Kushalnagar.
