Itinerary
Day 01: Bangalore – Srirangapatna – Mysore
On arrival at Bangalore Airport / Railway Station / your preferred location, our Aarambha Holidays driver will receive and assist you. Begin with a short Bangalore city tour and proceed towards Mysore via NH 275.
En route, visit:
- Srirangapatna – a river island on River Kaveri, famous for Ranganathaswamy Temple (Adi Ranga).
- Ganjam Village – known for rose cultivation, gulkand, and the historic Sri Nimishamba Temple.
- Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace – featuring elegant murals and landscaped gardens.
- Sangama – the confluence of Kaveri, Kabini & Hemavathi rivers.
- Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary – home to 169+ exotic species like storks, spoonbills, ibises, and kingfishers.
- Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas Palace) – the grand residence of the Wodeyars, renowned for Indo-Saracenic architecture, murals, Ravi Varma paintings, ivory artifacts, and evening light shows.
- KRS Dam & Brindavan Gardens – a marvel built by Sir M. Visvesvaraya, famous for its musical fountain and illuminated gardens.
Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Bangalore.
Day 02: Mysore Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day city tour of Mysore.
Highlights include:
- Mysore Zoo – Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens with 160+ species. (Closed on Tuesdays)
- Aqua World – India's largest underwater aquarium.
- Sand Museum – showcasing rare sand sculptures.
- Chamundeshwari Temple, Chamundi Hills – one of the 18 Shakti Peethas.
- Mahabaleshwara Temple – an 8th-century Shiva temple with influences of Hoysala, Chola & Vijayanagara dynasties.
- Mahishasura Statue – symbolizing Mysore's legendary origin.
- Nandi Bull Statue – India's third-largest monolithic bull with panoramic city views.
Drive back to hotel. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 03: Mysore – Bangalore Departure
After breakfast, check out and travel back to Bangalore. Drop-off at Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand or your preferred location. (If time permits, short Bangalore sightseeing can be included before departure.)
Tour ends with wonderful memories.
